Research Grant Opportunities

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) Advancing Science and Practice Committee (ASPC) oversees the grant development, review, and selection process. Grant opportunities are made available from the generous donations of monetary gifts donated to the Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation (RNF) from members and non-members who value the mission of the RNF, which is advancing rehabilitation nursing practice by promoting and developing educational activities and scientific research to improve the quality of health care to individuals. All grants are approved by the ARN Board of Directors

 

RNF LogoARN Quality Improvement Project Program Grant

ARN’s Advancing Science and Practice Committee requests applications for grant support for quality improvement (QI) projects that are based on the best available evidence and seek to improve rehabilitation outcomes for patients with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Proposed projects should have the potential to change systems of care within an organizational structure. This request for applications is not seeking research proposals. This call is funded by the RNF. Maximum funding available is $1,000 per recipient. Application deadline is June 1, 2023.

Picture1Collaborative ARN and Agnes Marshall Walker Foundation Research Grant 

ARN’s ASPC and the Agnes Marshall Walker Foundation (AMWF) requests applications for grant support for research studies that aim to advance the science and practice of neuroscience rehabilitation nursing. Proposals should address clinical practice, education, certification, or administrative dimensions of neuroscience and/or rehabilitation nursing. Proposed research should have the potential to generate findings that will lead to further extramural funding and contribute to the larger body of neuroscience nursing, rehabilitation nursing, and healthcare knowledge. Preference will be given to research studies however funds may provide support for quality improvement projects, program evaluation, or other performance improvement projects. This call is funded by the AMWF and the RNF. Funds are available up to $10,000, depending on budget for proposal. Application deadline is June 1, 2023.

SigmaFoundation COLOR 002Collaborative ARN and Sigma Foundation for Nursing Research Grant

ARN’s ASPC and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing are seeking applicants for grant support for research studies that aim to advance the science and practice of rehabilitation nursing, specifically related to Covid-19. Proposed research should have the potential to generate findings that will lead to further extramural funding and contribute to the larger body of rehabilitation and healthcare knowledge. This request does not include proposals for quality improvement projects, program evaluation, or other performance improvement projects. This call is funded by Sigma Theta Tau and the RNF. Funds are available up to $10,000, depending on budget for proposal. Application deadline is June 1, 2023.
